‘The Comedian’

Can Huang, a documentary filmmaker in London, made this lovely short film about me. I think it ably captures the melancholy of the London open mic circuit! Thanks to G&B Comedy and Memoirs of the Geezer for locations.

‘The Village in the Morning’ trailer

The trailer for the film ‘The Village In the Morning’, for which I wrote the screenplay, is online. It’s pretty much out of my hands now, but looks interesting, no? I won’t tell you the ending.

You can see more information about the film, including the poster, here.

‘The Village in the Morning’ is funded

Whew! After several weeks of email, Twitter and Facebook begging, we met our target to successfully crowdfund our film, ‘The Village In The Morning.’ It’s wonderful, but I have now officially used up all my favours.

We’d like to thank all the people who’ve made this possible, and here’s a short video doing just that.

Meanwhile, follow the project’s development here. Shooting starts September 2015.

Last days of our Kickstarter campaign

Greetings from Hackney where I’m looking after a sleepy dog.

I’m pleased to say that our Kickstarter campaign for our film ‘The Village in the Morning’, featured here, has been a great success. With just under two days left we’re funded to 80%.

Below is a thank you note to all our supporters.

The campaign is running until Tuesday, 01 September at 16.00, and we are also taking donations via PayPal also to jamesbeharris(at)gmail.com. All monies are refunded if we miss out.

We are grateful for every single donation of every single size.

Kickstarter for ‘The Village in the Morning’

Hey folks. The crowdfunding campaign for the forthcoming comedy-horror film, ‘The Village in The Morning‘, which I wrote, is up and running here. You can read about the film, and, if you like what you hear, give a donation, via Visa, AmEx or Mastercard, or by PayPal to jamesbeharris(at)gmail.com. Donations can be as little as £1, and every penny helps. And of course, all monies are refunded if the campaign is not successful.

Please be in touch if you have any questions. And please, spread the word.
